Salesians of Don Bosco-Africa of the Great Lakes (Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda)

Kabgayi: Salesian Confreres trained in various subjects during COVID 19 Lockdown

Obliged to stay at home in order to avoid the possible contamination of COVID 19, young Salesians, also Seminarians who live in the house of the Don Bosco Kabgayi, have taken practical courses in different subjects that have been organized in order to keep them busy during the period of confinement which forced the closure of schools and higher education establishments all over Rwanda. The training sessions were organized by the administration of the Salesian Vice-Province of the African Great Lakes (AGL) at the time when ordinary courses were interrupted due to  Coronavirus pandemic. They have been trained in accounting, Management, media, DIY (Do It Yourself) and IT.  The young people confirmed that the formations were opportune because the work of Salesians implies that each one has varied competences in various fields which help them to serve the community and in particular the young people.
