Following the expansion of Don Bosco Kabgayi’s Chapel Mary Help of the Christian, thanks to the support provided by Missioni Don Bosco Turin, the construction works are nearing completion where it is expected to end in the near future.
After completion and benediction, Christians will start to use it during Eucharistic mass celebration, according to Father Kabadugaritse Joseph, Superior of Kabgayi Salesian community.
This Chapel is expected to accommodate a higher number than the previous time when only 150 seats were available inside while other people had to follow the mass sitting outside.
In addition to Chapel expansion, sanitation facilities were also built to ensure that the public have access to sanitary facilities during mass time and during the Oratory time when activities are resumed as they have been temporarily suspended following the outbreak of COVID 19.
