
Brother Hubert Twagirayezu, Director of Planning and Development Office and the Provincial Economer of the Salesian Province of the Africa Great Lakes (AGL, has attended a meeting of the Directors of the Salesian Centers in Rwanda to review the work done over the course of the year 2020 as well as discussing planned activities for the pastoral year 2021.
The annual meeting brings together Directors of the Salesian Communities located in Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda, but this year due to the COVID 19 pandemic it became necessary for it to be carried out at the national level.
Brother Hubert Twagirayezu explained that “Father Provincial will be traveling to other countries for the same meeting based on his schedule.”
This meeting is always hosted by the Provincial as the supreme leader of the AGL Province.
During the meeting which took place on Friday, December 11, 2020, in Butare Saint at St. Louis Versiglia Noviciat, Father Provincial Pierre Célestin Ngoboka presented the program lines of the sixth General Chapter by referring to the post-chapter-provincial reflections.
They have also exchanged on the Programme of Animation and Governance (PAG 2020-2021) whose theme is “Full of hope and moved by a keen passion for youth. Let us revive the spirit of the oratory” which was elaborated taking into account the effects of COVID 19 on young people.
