Every year the world celebrates Christmas as a symbol of the Birth of Jesus Christ. This year on December 25, 2020 inside the Refugee Camp in Palabek (Uganda) there were various activities related to the celebration of Jesus’ birth.
Although living in a refugee camp is not an easy life, it has not prevented refugee families and young people in Palabek from joining together with the Salesians of Don Bosco who live with refugees to celebrate the end of year 2020 ceremonies despite being the difficult year due to the COVID 19 epidemic.
It is a festival marked by a variety of activities including singing carols related to the Christmas celebration, various dances and a Christmas lunch.
Also, to be happy is that by the end of 2020 at Don Bosco Palabek TVET School they have been given by donors a large Don Bosco branded bus that will assist in various school activities such as transporting students, assisting them in various activities when it is necessary for students to travel outside the camp etc.
