Young People in Palabek refugee Settlement have expressed their joy after they were presented with the bus donated by Madrid Procure to help Palabek VTC students in various activities including transport during recreational activities that may take place far from the camp.
Madrid Procure has allocated money to the Salesians of Don Bosco to be able to purchase the bus that will serve young people at Don Bosco Palabek.
Salesians of Don Bosco are striving for the wellbeing of youth refugees and that is why apart from being trained in various professions, Salesians also advocate for a better life even though life in the camps is not easy.
Despite living a difficult life, young people have not failed to be happy in the camp since many benefactors have continuously stayed behind them through the Salesian mission in the camp.
Palabek Refugee camp hosts dozens of thousands of refugees, a big number of them came from the War-torn South Sudan.
The Salesians remain close to these refugees through education, social wellbeing, evangelism, Youth Development and community livelihood and more.
