Jugend Eine Welt lights Don Bosco TVET Centres with solar security lights
Don Bosco TVET Centres in Uganda have received solar security lights in an effort to improve security and conservation of the environment. Installation of solar security lights started from Palabek followed by Bombo and this week Kamuli.
This is under the project titled solar skills and environmental education programme initiated by Jugend Eine Welt (JEW) with funding from the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADA).
The project is being implemented in three Don Bosco TVET centres in Uganda namely; St. Joseph Vocational Training Centre Kamuli, Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre Bombo and Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre Palabek.
This is a four years project from 2019 to 2022. The overall objective of the project is Vocational training and learning for sustainable development as a contribution to inclusive, equitable and quality education (SDG4) and reliable and sustainable energy for all (SDG7).
